Does Gravel Glue stop weeds from growing?

To effectively prevent weeds from damaging your landscape, correct preparation is essential. We suggest installing a root barrier membrane beneath the stones before applying Gravel Glue. This approach will preserve the appearance of your decorative features and keep them free of weeds!

We always recommend applying Gravel Glue on a surface with a well-draining base. Gravel Glue is specifically designed to allow water to filter through the gaps so that you can water the area without any concerns!

Gravel Glue is a water-based formula carefully created to be safe for your whole family, including kids, pets, and plants. You can apply it with confidence, knowing it won’t cause any damage.

Although Gravel Glue is designed to be very durable, jet washing can be too harsh for your stones. We suggest using a gentler method, such as a garden hose or warm water, to clean them effectively.

When applied on a well-prepared, well-draining surface, it can remain effective for as long as two years. In high-traffic areas, its durability may be reduced. We recommend reapplying annually to keep your stones strong.

The curing time for Gravel Glue varies based on the number of coats you apply. For the initial coat, we suggest allowing it to dry for 48 hours before proceeding with a second coat, allowing enough time between coats.

We advise cleaning the stones thoroughly and letting them dry before applying GravelGlue. Any dirt can prevent it from forming a strong bond.
