Mix Method
- Combine GravelGlue with your stones in a suitable mixing bucket.
- Thoroughly mix GravelGlue with your stones until each stone is coated.
- Pour the mixed GravelGlue and stones onto a permeable surface.
- Compact the stones firmly to ensure a stable and flat surface.
- Avoid any moisture, such as rain, dew or frost, for 72 hours.
Pour Method
- Start by evenly spreading stones on the area where you want them to be set.
- Pour GravelGlue into a standard watering can to ensure an even distribution.
- Gently pour the GravelGlue mixture over the stones using the watering can.
- Allow the mixture to penetrate deeply by letting it set undisturbed.
- Leave the treated area to dry for at least 72 hours in good weather conditions.
How It Works
GravelGlue is a water-based, air-drying solution that works by bonding and stabilising your stones as the water evaporates. During this process, GravelGlue particles crosslink, ensuring a strong, lasting hold.
For best results, it’s crucial that GravelGlue is allowed to fully evaporate, so be sure to apply it in warm weather and dry conditions, especially in the first 48 hours after application.
GravelGlue is ideal for use on both new and existing stones. While you can find suitable stones at most DIY stores, we also offer our own premium range of decorative stones.
